Am based in Nigeria.
Do you feel your location has an effect on your domain investing?
Yes, location has affected my domain life, First People have a general reasoning of Nigeria, or Nigerains being scammers, which is basically not true. Secondly, most times buyers would want a call. also most buyers would love to know where you are mailing them from, and once they discover you are a Nigerian, they tend to act careful or even back out. Some even go as far as pricing less than the agreed price for the domain, because they believe that it will be a big money, in your country.

How many domains do you currently hold?
Like I said earlier am not a full time domainer, so I sometimes regulate the number of domainers I keep in my portfolio. Since 80% of them are mostly geo names, which Requires outbounding. I regulate my geo names to 300, not to exceed 500 names, in any circumstance. Recently I am letting most names expire as I plan creating a balance between geo names and investing into Non geo names. Then I can aim for a portfolio of over 500 and above to 1000 and more. Since domaining isn’t a full time business for me yet. Basically, now i just have less than 300 names as i intend diversifying.
